Passionate. Professional. Rider-Focused.
At One Above Farm CT, our team is the heart of everything we do. Each member brings a unique blend of experience, energy, and commitment to helping horses and riders succeed — both in and out of the show ring. From seasoned competitors to compassionate educators, we work together to create a training environment that’s as supportive as it is competitive.
Andrea is a dedicated equestrian with over 20 years of riding experience, and she’s spent the last decade teaching at top facilities throughout Fairfield County. As a certified CHA Instructor, Andrea thrives on working with riders of all ages and skill levels, helping them reach their full potential both in and out of the saddle.
With a background in hunters, jumpers, and equitation, Andrea is especially skilled at helping riders build confidence and technique. She also has a talent for working with timid riders to overcome fears, and has extensive experience working with children with special needs.
Andrea’s love for horses and teaching shines through in every lesson, making her an invaluable part of the One Above Farm team.
“We believe in doing things the right way — for both horse and rider — and having fun while we do it.”
Terri brings over 35 years of experience to One Above Farm, specializing in riders of all levels, from beginners on the walk-trot to those aiming for the USET and Maclay medals. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the DeNemethy method, which blends cavaletti work and dressage/flatwork to create a solid foundation for both horse and rider, ensuring success in the show ring.
Whether she's in the saddle or coaching, Terri is passionate about helping riders build confidence, technique, and partnership with their horses. When she's not teaching or riding, you’ll find her enjoying quality time with her own horse, Ewieka.
We’re lucky to have Terri as part of our team, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and dedication to every lesson.
